CISWO The Coal Mining Charity
​CISWO The Coal Mining Charity support ex mine-workers and their dependent families in many ways, each area has a local worker who, once we are able to home visit again will be able to offer a face to face appointment.
 
Since March 2020 we continued to work throughout the pandemic by contacting our clients by phone, offering our support and advice to those in need of help, with welfare benefit claims grant giving and all areas of advice to those struggling to access the statutory and voluntary services that they would usually contact.

Please be advised that the 24/7 Crisis Number for children and young people has changed. For urgent calls for children and young people who are experiencing a mental health crisis, contact the Rise Crisis team between 8.00am-8.00pm on 02476 641799 or call  0300 200 0011 outside of these hours. During the COVID response, this is service is available 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, with an advice-only service outside the core hours of 8.00am-8.00pm.

MIND
​
Coventry and Warwickshire Mind are pleased to announce the opening of a new service which launched 2nd April 2020.
The Warwickshire Safe Haven will offer mental health support from 6pm-11pm every Thursday to Sunday evening.
Currently support is provided by telephone/text/email with a view to being provided face to face once government guidance allows.
Warwickshire Safe Haven aims to help those who might be finding it difficult to cope and need support when other services are closed.  Wellbeing practitioners can provide a reassuring chat, signposting and guidance on building coping strategies to manage both mental and emotional wellbeing.  See below for contact details:
